Evolution of Old - Membership Policy – (For New Recruits/Applicants)

Membership to the guild is via online application where questions will be asked and comments passed. The more enthusiastic your application and the more pro-active you are in responding to questions, the better your chances.

Quite often, a potential recruit will be invited to some guild raids effectively as a 'pug' (without access to loot), to see how they raid. A guild invite for trial might be offered afterwards, or the application denied. Once a successful applicant is invited to the guild, he/she will be ranked as 'New Recruit' for a trial period of up to one month, during which time we can assess their suitability and see how they fit in with our current members. New recruits will be allowed to bid for loot, via DKP, alongside the ranked guild members. Guild repairs are not offered to New Recruits and guild bank access will only be possible via an officer. After the trial period, the New Recruit will be raid-ranked according to gear/raid output or informed that their trial has been unsuccessful and asked to leave.

Guild members agree to commit to 2/3 raids per week. We understand that real life could affect this commitment from time to time and ask that if you are unable to raid for whatever reason, that you contact an officer, or post on the 'AFK or Can't make it' section of the forum.

Evolution of Old has a raiding policy which is located in the 'Raiding chat' section of the forum. All guild members should read and acknowledge this.

The forums are essential to Evo. Members are expected to actively contribute to their class forum and keep up with new posts weekly. Aside from the obvious social benefits, all information pertaining to the running of the guild, such as raiding, dkp, classes, etc, are stored and updated on the forums. We encourage members to give their constructive feedback on discussions there, as it helps officers understand how things are working in-guild.

The guild uses a DKP policy for raiding and banking.
